Guesting on Funky Fridays on WRSI this Friday, in promotion for The Sweet Excorcist Part July 16 in Greenfield, MA

This Friday, July 9, Studebaker Hawk will be a guest on Funky Fridays on WRSI The River, 93.9FM or www.wrsi.com. From 6PM-12AM EST, I'll be dropping tracks with resident DJ Phil Straub. Get a preview of the type of jams I'll have at the Sweet Excorcist Party, July 16, at The People's Pint, 24 Federal Street, Greenfield, MA. The party's facebook event page is http://www.facebook.com/#!/event.php?eid=134355469926973&ref=ts. Resident DJ Andujar brings heavy latin, funk, and afrobeat. He lines up guest DJs and has percussionists accenting the records. Food and home made brews there are fantastic. Party kicks off at 10, but the kitchen also closes at 10, so getting there early for dinner is highly suggested. Sweet Excorcist is every third Friday of the month. No cover charge. All ages, but 21+ to drink.

Prior to the party bikers can join the the Greenfield-Turners-Greenfield bike bar tour. Riders will meet at the Greenfield Common at 6:30PM to begin the ride. The journey will take us on a leisurely ride along city streets and the canal-side trail to Turners Falls and back, with stops at Jake's Tavern (66 Ave A) and The Rendezvous (78 3rd St) in TF.
