New Record Store in Western Massachusetts, Platterpus Too opens in Easthampton

Platterpus Records have reopened as Platterpus Too at 74 Cottage Street
Easthampton, MA. The shop is mostly vinyl records, but CDs, posters, t-shirts and such are also in stock.




The store's hours are
Tuesday - Thursday 11AM - 8PM
Thursday, Friday, Saturday 11AM - 9PM
Sunday, Monday - Closed (for now)


How to find Platterpus, Too:

From Westfield and South - Take Rt 10 North. When you get into Easthampton, take a right on Union Street .(There is a supermarket called Big E's on the corner).At the first (and only) light take a left on to Cottage Street. I'm on the right side. When you pass the Brass Cat bar, you'll see Pine Street on your right. I'm two stores up from Pine Street, between Western Nail Salon (where Night Owl Records used to be) and Valley Art Supply. There is a public parking across the street.

From Hadley / Amherst and North: Take Rt 10 South. Make a left on to Union Street. After that, follow the directions above.

From I91 - Take Exit 17B (Easthampton - If you're coming from the North you'll need to make a right at the end of the exit. It you're coming from the south, you'll merge on to Mountain Rd.) Take Mountain Rd (141) over the mountain. It becomes Holyoke Street at the bottom of the mountain. Follow Holyoke Street until the end. Make a soft left on to Cottage Street. I'm a couple of blocks down on the left.
